Multimastic SP is an acrylic based fire stopping mastic which has been specifically manufactured to provide a fire-resistant sealant to the openings of cable trays, pipes, cable penetrations and for glueing Multimastic fire boards together. When the Multimastic SP is exposed to adverse amounts of heat it expands, creating a fire-resistant seal making sure heat and smoke transfer is prevented between adjacent rooms. The Multimastic can resist fire for up to 240 minutes, has an acoustic insulation value of RW 62 dB and working life of 30 years.
