The Rockwool SP Fire Stop OSCB is designed to form an open state cavity barrier within a rainscreen system. Manufactured from an intumescent strip fixed to high-density non-combustible Rockwool insulation. This allows for ventilation and drainage under normal service conditions. In the unfortunate event of a fire, the intumescent strips will expand causing the cavity to close and the spread of fire and smoke stunted. The Rockwool SP60 fire stop OSCB Slab can offer up to 120 minutes of fire protection.
